A Message From The Chief

I am honored to serve as the Chief of Police for the City of Luling.  Luling is a city that is welcoming, diverse, and growing. As Chief, I have the honor and privilege of leading a core group of professionals that includes sworn peace officers, state certified animal control officers, certified communications officers, and professional civilian staff. Collectively, we strive to provide both the residents and visitors of Luling with the highly professional service and protection they deserve.  
 
 The Luling Police Department is focused on engaging with the community we serve while positively impacting the quality of life of our residents.  Our goal is to serve all segments of the Luling community while adhering to the four pillars of Procedural Justice :

• Fairness – (Being fair in our processes and procedures)
• Transparency – (Being transparent in our actions)
• Impartiality – (Being impartial in decision making)
• Voice – (Providing opportunities for the community to have a voice)

Our goal in adhering to these pillars of Procedural Justice is to form a strong and mutually respectful bond with our residents, community stakeholders, businesses and visitors. That bond and the support of our community is what allows us to go forth in the community and do our jobs effectively, professionally and ethically.                    

 As your Chief, I will continually strive to ensure that the Luling Police Department maintains the highest possible professional and ethical standards and that we provide all of our stakeholders a safe and pleasant place to live, work and play.
