Businesses will be competing for the coveted “Cocoa Cup” again this year, by preparing their special hot chocolate and making samples available for visitors. Those visitors will vote on their favorite, and the winning business will be named after 8 p.m.
Ballots can be picked up at any participating business and at the Chamber of Commerce, 421 E. Davis Street. Completed ballots must be turned in at the Visitors’ Center (in the Oil Museum). One of those ballots will be drawn at 8 p.m., and the winner will receive a gift basket.
During this year’s Cocoa and Carols the Kiwanis will host an added attraction. Club members will provide their “earlier generation” tractors and wagons for hay rides that will take those downtown on a tour of the seasonal decorations.
Plans are to load the wagons in the 500 block of E. Davis. The hay rides will be free.
Santa will be on hand, spreading the holiday cheer at each participating business.
Everyone is invited to attend this activity and share in the holiday spirit that will abound.
