The City of Luling will be taking a more aggressive and proactive approach to trimming trees near power lines. These are to blame for quite a few of the outages we have experienced. This will include alleyways, public right-a-ways, tree and branches that obstruct street signs.

We ask homeowners not to plant trees under power lines in the future. It does not take long for them to become an ongoing problem and safety issue. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
