Request For Release Of Funds

 On or about January 27, 2021 the City of Luling will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)/ Texas Department of Agriculture (TOA) for the release of Federal funds under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (P. L. 93-383) to undertake a project known as TxCDBG  TOA Contract #7219-251  City of Luling Wastewater  improvements  in the amount of $300,000  and

$75,000 in local funds from City General Fund. Project includes administrative and engineering services and fees.   The City of Luling's project consists for the purpose of replacing a deteriorated wastewater outfall line in a northeast target area of the community to improve sewer services and comply with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements. Project will  benefit 456 residents of which 72% are low to moderate income.
